Now officially part of Iter Vitis, Aigialeia is not only a land of ancient winemaking traditions but also a region of historical importance, particularly during the Greek Revolution. The Oinoxenia Festival is more than just a wine celebration—it is a tribute to culture, where wine symbolizes identity, history, and heritage. Through theater, poetry, and music, the festival conveys values that unite people, while organizations like Idifono, an active Iter Vitis member, play a crucial role in preserving cultural heritage and democratic traditions.
