
The Municipality of Aigialeia at the Annual General Assembly of Iter Vitis in Moldova
On October 18, the international conference "Wine and Cultural Festival Tourism" took place, attended by the President of Iter Vitis, Ms. Emanuela Panke. The conference focused on the economic impact of wine tourism, the role of public bodies in the sector’s development, and the geopolitical significance of wine in international relations. Participants visited local wineries and exchanged best practices. As part of the event, the 8th Iter Vitis Les Chemins de La Vigne en Europe 2024 Awards Ceremony was held, attended by the Greek Ambassador to Moldova, Mr. Nikolaos Krikos. On October 19, during the General Assembly, members presented their activities and planned future initiatives. Representing the Municipality of Aigialeia, agronomist Ms. Chrysoula Christia highlighted the actions of the Greek members and the success of the "Oinoxeneia" festival. Additionally, "Idyfono" Publications from Aigialeia participated, represented by Ms. Maria Panagiotakopoulou and Mr. Sakis Papadimitriou, who performed musical pieces blending Greek and Moldovan melodies, emphasizing the timeless cultural connection through music.
